It's hard to believe that fall is already almost here.
The time of year where the leaves turn color, the weather gets cooler, and pumpkin spice--need I say more?. Here's a list of things that Christian girls can do during the season, both fun and faith-growing! 1. START A THANKFULNESS JOURNAL After all, fall is when the countdown to Thanksgiving begins, so why not start writing down a few things you're thankful for each day? 2. READ A GOOD CHRISTIAN BOOK Get cozy, grow in your faith, and challenge yourself this season by reading a good Christian book! 3. HOST A BIBLE STUDY Have you always wanted to start a Bible study, but you weren't sure how--or when? Why not meet with a few friends at a coffee shop or a room at your local library? 4. GO ON A HIKE Get out there into the crisp autumn air and enjoy God's creation! 5. HAVE A CAMPFIRE Invite some friends and have a campfire! You could sing some worship songs, do a Bible study, and of course, have s'mores! 6. HOST A REFORMATION PARTY October 31st is not only Halloween, but it's the day reformer Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses to the door of All Saints' Church, marking the onset of the Reformation. So instead of a Halloween party, why not have a party with your church or fellow Christian friends? And you can hand out gospel tracts to trick-or-treaters! 7. GO THRIFT SHOPPING Find some modest fall outfits with some friends for church or casual wear! 8. DO A SERVICE PROJECT Make blankets, hats, scarfs, stuffed animals, etc to send to a nursing home, hospital, homeless shelter, or somewhere else and donate! 9. BAKE A PIE Bake a pie--pumpkin? Apple? Your choice!--to give to a neighbor or friend at church! 10. HAVE A YARD SALE Got some old clothes? Toys? Other belongings? Host a yard/garage/rummage sale and consider donating some of the money to church or a Christian organization. And that's it for this post! I hope that this has inspired you. If you have any ideas of your own, feel free to drop a comment and share! God bless!
