Here's an example of how you can use the Spiritual Disciplines Chart found here! Basically, to use this spiritual disciplines chart, you fill in the month, goal (for example, study or read your Bible every day/certain amount of chapters every day, etc), and fill in the spiritual disciplines you want to do daily. You can also write the date in the top right corner of every box so that it's like a calendar (I left it blank in this example). Once you complete your daily discipline, you can check it off (as shown) or even use cute stickers (there are lots of good ones at Hobby Lobby and Michael's that would fit in these boxes)!
The memory verse is optional, but very helpful if you post this somewhere you see it often (mirror, by your bed, etc). What I suggest doing, if you aren't going to use stickers, is get a picture frame the size of a sheet of paper (which is the size of this printable), fill in the chart, and put it in the frame. Then, you can use a dry-erase marker for the check marks, or even the month/goal if you want to keep reusing the same spiritual disciplines every month! (a dry-erase marker will erase off of the glass of a picture frame) Then, you can even decorate the frame and hang it in your bedroom where you'll see it every day. This is what I plan on doing, personally. Lastly, I know: spiritual disciplines shouldn't be a chore, a checklist, etc. It should be something we know and want to do every day. But in our busy society, it's hard to create habits or even keep track, so this is just a good way to get started--or simply be organized! I'm a very organized person (like, I'm OCD about it), so I thrive off of checklists and charts. Do whatever works best for you. Do whatever it takes to grow in your faith!
